What is Retest Required?

Also written asRetest Needed

"Retest Required" is a judgment indicating that the same test should be performed again to confirm the result, considering factors such as measurement conditions at the time of testing and the possibility of temporary fluctuations. Unlike a diagnostic workup, the primary purpose here is simply to reconfirm the initial finding.

How to interpret an out-of-range result

The same test item will be repeated at the recommended time. If the result still falls outside the reference range upon retesting, a more detailed diagnostic examination or a clinical consultation may be considered.
