What is Further Examination Required?

Also written asFurther Workup Required / Detailed Examination Required

"Further Examination Required" is a result given when a health checkup finds a possible abnormality and additional testing (a detailed follow-up examination) is needed to determine its cause. It does not mean a disease has been confirmed, but it is important not to ignore the result and to visit the appropriate medical department as directed.

How to interpret an out-of-range result

You should visit the medical department that corresponds to the test or organ indicated on your results report. In many cases, the follow-up examination will find nothing abnormal, but seeking care promptly will give you peace of mind.
